Dustin (they/them) holds a Master of Arts in Education from East Carolina University and has worked as a theatre maker in the triangle for more than twenty-five years as a director, actor, designer, intimacy choreographer, writer, critic, and teacher. They specialize in student, community, and professional theatre, dance, cinema, music, and comedy as well as arts accessibility, disability justice, and queer politics.
Dustin is a script reader for the National Playwrights Conference and OdysseyStage, a judge for the DPAC Rising Star Awards, a jury member at the Nevermore Film Festival, and sits on board of the OutSouth Queer Film Festival. Their writing has appeared in Indy Week, Carolina Parent, Pedal Fuzz, and Chatham Life & Style, where they have written about arts and culture since its founding in 2018.

Erim (she/her), a North Carolina native, is a writer, storyteller, and jester. Her stories have been seen live and virtually by over 45,000 students across the US and UK. When not performing, she enjoys teaching writing and theater workshops that empower students to share their stories with the world. As a jester, she enjoys creating safe spaces where others can share ideas, tap into their inner genius, and collaborate as they engage in the creative process.
She enjoys performance arts of all kinds, focusing on arts events and local festivals for Chatham Life & Style. Erim began writing about festivals, cultural events, and the performing arts for Chatham Life & Style in 2019.

Kevin (he/him) is a performer/writer/director in the Triangle theatre community. A former US Navy sailor and trained chef, he discovered a passion for theatre later in life. He has been seen around the Triangle in productions such as Dial M for Murder (NC State TheatreFest) and 26 Pebbles (The Justice Theater Project). When not making theatre, Kevin can usually be found as an audience member, whether it be for theatrical works, stand-up comedy, or local baseball games. He began writing about theatre for Chatham Life & Style in 2024.

Dani (she/her) is a content creator, writer, facilitator, and podcast host focused on self-awareness, faith identity, and meaningful conversations. She hosts EarthXperiences, exploring faith and mindset with thought leaders. Dani also writes, facilitates workshops, and reviews art, using storytelling and critical inquiry to inspire personal growth and community connections. Dani began writing about the performing arts for Chatham Life & Style in 2024.

Ebony (she/her) has lived in the Carolinas for almost 29 years and is dipping her toes back into its artistic scene. An Appalachian State University alum, she has a Bachelor's degree in Journalism with a minor in creative writing. She has performed in both high school and college choral and theatre productions. A huge fan of film and theatre, she is excited to see what new creations the triangle has to offer. Ebony began writing about the performing arts for Chatham Life & Style in 2024.

Lauren (she/her) has lived in the triangle for close to a decade and is a graduate of the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, where she earned Bachelor's degrees in Music and Communications. She is a classically trained lyric soprano, but sings and has performed both opera and musical theatre. Lauren is the associate music director of a church, and was previously a voice teacher for four years. She covers a variety of performing arts for Chatham Life & Style, where she has been writing about opera and theatre since 2019.

Naveed (he/him), is a British-born Pakistani and makes his home in North Carolina as an IT Business Development professional. A writer, actor, producer and stage manager, Naveed volunteers with Thee Quaker Project (a multimedia storytelling collaboration) and serves on the Board of Directors for Raleigh-based Bare Theatre.
Naveed reports on theatre and musical performance and is a photographer at FractalsEdge He is a member of the American Theatre Critics Association and has written about the performing arts for Chatham Life & Style since 2019.

Amelia (she/her) is a professional singer-songwriter based in Durham, NC. As well as operating Horse Complex Records, she has performed at large-scale festivals, recorded with popular musicians nation-wide, toured nationally, and appeared on numerous podcasts as Riggings, VAXXERS, and Criswell Brushes.
She has served as musical director for multiple local theatre productions and composed two full-length original scores. Amelia’s album reviews, concert reviews, and festival diaries have also appeared in Shfl, Pedal Fuzz, and Rezonatr. She has been writing about music and performance for Chatham Life & Style since 2019.
